A new report by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission found that, as at 31 December 2018, 61% of all internet connections in Australia were accessed via mobile handsets, making it the most common way Australians access the internet. (Source)
The Australia Post 2019 eCommerce industry report also revealed that mobile has the fastest YOY growth (28.8%) among other purchasing channels, with laptop having a -5.1% YOY growth and desktop at -11%.
For businesses, this presents great opportunities to connect with consumers via their now favourite device – their mobile phones. And SMS, with a 94% open rate, is one of the most direct and effective ways to ensure that your message is read.
To further enhance the power of your SMS campaign, we’ve introduced a new product called SMS Landing Pages. They enable you to create a webpage that’s specifically designed for mobile users with your choice of colours and images; content that is personalised for each and every one of the recipients; and helps customers to complete the actions you want with call-to-action buttons.
Building an SMS Landing Page is pretty easy with our Messaging Studio where ready to use templates are available; the page will be hosted by us as well. If you need design help to brush up your SMS Landing Page, there are plenty of free tools out there too.
To help you get the most out of the SMS Landing Pages, we’ve put together this dos and don’ts guide so that you know what to include in the landing pages, with tips that help you achieve the best possible results.
