Setup your Echo for Email account

In order to use the Echo for Email service you will need:

• A free Esendex account
• To have admin rights within the Esendex account
• A valid email address

Adding your Outlook email address

To start sending SMS from Outlook, you’ll first need to add your email address as an Echo Email user. You can do that by logging in to Echo as the admin user. Once logged in, select “Echo for Email” at the top, right-hand side of the page.

This is the page where you can see, as well as manage, your list of email addresses which are registered to use the Echo for Email function. To add your email address, simply type the full address into the text box provided and click “add.”

If the email address is valid, you will see the address added to the list, as below. And instructions will then be sent to the email address you have provided, advising you with the next steps.

A welcome email, addressed from the “echoemail” domain will be delivered to your email inbox, almost instantly.

How to send SMS using Microsoft Outlook

The email will state that you have been authorised to send sms from your Microsoft Outlook email address using your Esendex account. It will also outline instructions, hints and tips on how to send SMS successfully to your contacts.

Our integration makes sending SMS from outlook as simple as sending an email, the only difference is the recipients email address, which should be formatted as below:
