Send SMS by email is simple with our Echo for Email - a SMS service that will enable you to send SMS directly from your email account, conveniently combining the two communication channels. Once configured you simply need to prefix with the mobile number you want to reach. i.e. and the email will be delivered as SMS.

How can I show my messages come from a company name?


You can easily set your from address so your text messages can be delivered to the handsets of your recipients with your company name. This is activated in your Echo for Email settings and can be up to 11 alphanumeric characters long.

What email applications does this work with?


Echo for Email is extremely flexible and works with any email client.

Can I send lots of SMS messages from email?


Yes, technically you can in the same way you would for sending lots of emails, however when you start to add more than 10 emails, it'd be more worthwhile looking into our Bulk SMS feature with Echo.

Can I receive replies back to my email?


Yes, replies require a Virtual Mobile Number and you can then set these replies to be forwarded from your Esendex account back to your email address. This means you can use solely your email client to send and receive SMS.
