Citysafe provides Web based security and business continuity services to the public and private sector.
Their portfolio of products include their Incident & Exercise Manager Pro (IEMPro), used to drive the first Pan London Incident Management System for local authorities and Beacon, an emergency communication and mapping tool used by private and public sector organisations including the Central London Warning & Information System.(www.communitysafe.gov.uk)
Communitysafe is a publicly available service for Londoners that draws on the same information used by government, public sector, and security forces in planning for emergencies. Users can choose to receive alerts by email, pager or Premium Rate SMS messages charged at just 10p. Both IEMPro and Beacon use our SMS API to integrate with our service to send both standard rate and premium rate SMS messages. Speed and security of supply and these were key considerations for CitySafe in choosing an SMS supplier. Managing Director Nick Beale says:
