Voice SMS is extremely straightforward to use, so no training is required. Simply access your web account, enable Voice SMS in the options screen, type your text message as normal, then click on "Voice SMS" to send the message as a voice message. Using Voice SMS is as simple as sending a standard SMS message.
Yes. Your web account allows you to view recent activity, see how many messages are left in the account, and purchase credits at anytime. We'll also send you automated emails to let you know when your messaging limit is running low.
SMS Plan customers can choose between Direct Debit or standard account terms. Pay as you go customers can purchase voice messages online at anytime via our secure website.
No. Voice SMS is an internet-based solution so you need no additional software or hardware - just a web browser and access to the internet. Voice SMS is accessed via our Web SMS service.
Voice SMS messages can be delivered to all fixed line and mobile phones.
Esendex provides customers with message status updates so you can be sure that the voice SMS message has been received. A "connecting" status tells you that we are making repeated attempts to deliver the Voice SMS.
We will continue to try to deliver if the phone is engaged or no-one picks up. The "acknowledged" status confirms that the recipient has heard and acknowledged the message. All this information is available for you to view via your web account.
If the phone isn't answered when it rings, we will continue to try to deliver the Voice SMS so the phone will continue to ring until its picked up. If the phone is switched off, we will continue to try to send the Voice message and you will see a "connecting" status.
