Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about how to send SMS from your PC to mobiles.  In addition, the PC SMS section within our support pages contains more information about how best to use the service.

How good is your PC text service?

What is SMS forwarding?

SMS forwarding allows you to receive SMS to a mobile phone that you specify. When an SMS response is sent back to your email account, it is also forwarded on to the mobile phone you specify in the options screen of Web SMS. To set this up, go to options in Web SMS then SMS forwarding and type in the mobile phone number that the SMS is to be forwarded to.

How simple is PC SMS to use?

PC SMS, our SMS software solution is very straightforward to use, so no training is required. If you need further help, simply contact your account manager and they will be able to answer any questions you have about PC SMS. Alternatively, you can refer to our support pages.

What is a customised sender ID?

By default messages are sent from the virtual mobile number that is assigned to your account when you set it up.  The customized sender ID allows you to change this to an 11 character combination of letters or numbers such as your company name, department or staff member.  When the recipient receives your SMS they will see this name rather than a mobile number. Unlike other messaging providers, we provide this service for free.

 

Is it easy to manage my account?

It is very quick and easy to manage your account. Login to your account via our website and view recent activity, see how many messages are left in the account and purchase credits at any time. We will also send you automated low credit warning emails to let you know when your message limit is running low.

What level of support do I get?

Technical support is provided free of charge either by emailing support@esendex.com or calling
1300 764 946 during office hours - 9.00am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

What payment options do you offer for PC SMS?

Pay As You Go customers can purchase SMS messages online at any time via our secure website. SMS Plan and Tracker tariff customers can choose between Direct Debit or standard account terms.

Can I access reports to check how the PC SMS service has been used?

Yes. It’s simple to keep track of sent PC SMS messages, just click on the download button from your online account inbox. All sent messages can be downloaded in CSV format.
