How do I configure my Outlook account to send and receive SMS?

How simple is Outlook SMS to use?
Outlook SMS is very straightforward to use, so no training is required. If you need further help, simply contact your Account Manager by telephone or email and they will be able to answer any questions you have about Outlook SMS. Alternatively, you can refer to our Support website.
Is it easy to manage my account?
It is very quick and easy to manage your account. Login to your account via our website and view recent activity, see how many messages are left in the account, and purchase credits at anytime. We will also send you automated low credit warning emails to let you know when your messaging limit is running low.
What payment options do you offer?
SMS Plan customers can choose between Direct Debit or standard account terms. Prepay customers can purchase SMS messages online at anytime via our secure website.
Who can I send SMS messages to?
You can send a message via Outlook SMS to a mobile phone on any of the Australian networks, including the "virtual networks" such as Virgin. You can also send messages to them whilst they are overseas provided that they have set-up their phones for international roaming and to the vast majority of international users.
Can I track the messages I send when multiple users are accessing my account?
You can track sent messages when multiple users are sending messages from a single account, as long as each user has an individual logon. Access your account, then click on sent messages. The username column will show the messages sent by each logon.
What is SMS forwarding?
SMS forwarding allows you to receive SMS to a mobile phone that you specify. When an SMS response is sent back to your email account, it is also forwarded on to the mobile phone you specify in the options screen of Web SMS. To set this up, go to options in Web SMS then SMS forwarding and type in the mobile phone number that the SMS is to be forwarded to.
What is a customised Sender ID?
By default messages are sent from the virtual mobile number that is assigend to your account when you set it up. The customised sender ID allows you to change this to an 11 character combination of letters or numbers such as your company name, department, or a campaign. When the recipient receives your SMS they will see this name rather than a mobile number. Unlike other messaging providers, we provide this service for free.
