T4Fitness Gym have been able to produce their marketing campaigns in-house since moving away from Direct Mail and Point of Display advertising. Their preferred marketing channel is now SMS Marketing, which has saved the business thousands. Their SMS appointment reminder service for personal training sessions is also paying dividends.
T4Fitness is a successful gym in Melbourne offering a range of activities for clients whether they are looking to boost their cardiovascular fitness, lose weight, tone up, increase strength or become more flexible. The gym has 800 members but is always striving to retain customer loyalty and gain new clients in an ever more competitive environment.
T4Fitness used to outsource their marketing activity (which included direct mail to lapsed members, current members and local businesses) to a local Marketing agency. To encourage membership renewal the gym would get flyers and posters printed and displayed around the gym. The financial rewards of bringing the marketing effort in-house have been high, with little impact on workload for the gym staff. The campaigns can be set up very quickly and of course, there are no more lengthy meetings with a Marketing Company to discuss up-coming campaigns.
